My friend Ken recently sent me some photos of the drums he has made and with his permission I am sharing these with you.
I have been really impressed with Ken's craftsmanship and attention to detail with these drums, and I absolutely love his tension rod design. The lug is minimal and has a simple and well thought out design. I played one of his drums today on a gig and thought it looked and sounded great. Ken hopes to get audio recordings posted soon, so for now enjoy the pictures (below) and I'll provide a link for the audio as soon as I can.
If you'd like more info please email Ken directly via his email address: snaredrumlug (at) gmail (dot) com or you can leave a comment below and I'll get back to you. Feel free to also get in touch via my contact form and I can pass along his info to you that way.

If you were going to have a custom snare drum built for you, what would you want want in a drum?
